Kimberly Mueller

Kimberly Mueller is a Registered Psychologist who provides Counselling and Neurofeedback services.  She obtained her Masters of Science in Health Psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and further training and specialization in Calgary.  Her vast clinical experience includes working with children, adolescents, and adults with AD/HD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder), Anxiety, Depression, IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome) and Weight Management (including emotional eating and disordered eating).

Kimberly has a foundational belief that when we are able to understand and address the underlying psychological factors that affect our thoughts, emotions, and behaviours, we can begin to heal from them and transform our lives.  Kimberly utilizes a strengths based approach drawing on the evidence-based principles of Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy, Mindfulness Techniques, and Solution Focused therapy.

In addition to counselling, Kimberly offers NeurOptimal neurofeedback training.  This cutting edge technology allows individuals to optimize their brain functioning and train the brain to release areas of “stuckness,” and move forward with greater cognitive clarity, emotional stability, and an overall sense of greater well-being.

Kimberly spends her free time with her two young sons and husband, cooking, playing tennis, hiking, doing yoga, and being in nature.
